Who We Are

Joe cut his teeth in the home building industry by working as a Project Manager for local home builder. Over the course of 14 months, he managed 20 different projects — talk about baptism by fire! But in those 20 projects, he honed his skills as a project manager and fine-tuned his abilities as a designer. As he puts it, “I try to envision people living in every project that I undertake, whether that’s a new build or a renovation. I continually ask myself, How can this be more convenient? How we can we achieve the look the homeowner wants and stay within budget?”

Everyone wants a home they can be proud of, and Joe understands that. He knows the swell of pride when someone walks into your house and immediately they begin to “ooh” and “aah.” More than that, he really appreciates a design that is equal parts beautiful and efficient. Let’s face it, a beautiful house is great, but if it takes 15 minutes to unload the dishwasher because your cabinets are located on the opposite of the kitchen, then that’s not convenient. Towel hooks are great in a bathroom, but not if you can’t reach them from the shower. At Compass Point Construction, we want our designs to be beautiful and smart.
